Colours!

Our 'colours' are now organised... our peg out ordered... soooo - about a couple of weeks until construction can commence!


And now I really can't wait for my pretty, pretty kitchen!


(In case anyone's wondering, and I know I'm a party pooper but my colours are a secret until I can post photos of the finished product...)

Progress... at last...

Well, it's been a year since we first put our initial deposit on our block of land and we have signed everything imaginable, researched thoroughly and walked through many, many display homes for ideas.


We are council approved, construction certificate ready and now a couple of months later we are up to the final step before we can start construction - this afternoon, we had our phone call to book our 'colours appointment'! I know that you're all thinking, why haven't they started - it's because this is the 6th Step of our 7 Step Checklist (which really should be the 100 Step Checklist) with Step 7 being construction. Don't ask me, I didn't write the checklist... 


So, I've decided that I would like to share the construction of our house via this blog.
