We thought we would go down to Harvey Norman and check out toilet roll holders and towel rails today, though we ended up perusing the flooring section...
We decided a while ago that the wet areas would be tile (as necessary), downstairs would be timber laminate flooring (except the lounge room), and the lounge room and upstairs would be carpet..
So whilst in the flooring section we were checking out the laminates... good prices (thank you Super Saturday!)... and instead of the bathroom accessories - we bought our timber laminate flooring.. It works out that I think we saved about 30%.
The other week, we went looking at dining tables and bought a couch - and then we realised that in the very beginning we went looking to buy a house and have ended up building one... it seems to be how we work.. lol :)
